Ashley is 11!!!

It's hard to believe that 11 years have passed since the most amazing baby girl changed my life forever. Once I got to see her beautiful face I realized that what I wanted no longer mattered and she was the new ruler of my life and heart. Having Ashley changed my life in ways I never expected. Until I was her mother, I never knew that I could love someone so much. This day is all for you my big girl!



You were so small and cute- even though you were a bit orange.



Watching you grow and learn  has been an adventure.



Being your mom took some getting used to. I was always worried about doing what was best for you and  made sure that everything you ate was as healthy and natural as possible. Thank you for eating your wheatgrass first birthday cake that almost slid off the plate. Yeah- sorry.



You helped to keep me focused on what was important. Even when school got tough and the demands of being a student and your mom got to me, looking at you made me realize it was all worth it.



Your capacity to love and care for Barney showed me what a loving person you would be.



and those little red pigtails always made me smile.





Being your mom helped me to realize that I need to wait for the perfect man for not only me, but for you too. Because of you, I had the courage to meet David.

  

and make our family complete.
