Spring Break

Last week was Spring break for the kids. David only had Friday off so we didn't really do anything special, but I enjoyed the time with the kids.We tried to do something interesting each day to help keep the kids from getting bored. It worked the first few days, but by the end I was wiped out and we spent most of out time getting ready for the next week.

On Monday we went to the mall. Alan and Rowan played at the playground for hours while Ashley did some shopping. She got 2 new bathing suits so she is set for summer!

Tuesday was Big Kid Cookie Camp. Ashley and another girl made traditional and a few not so traditional Irish treats. The ice cream pie was definitely the favorite!

Wednesday was Little leprechaun camp. The kids made Leprechaun bark, decorated sugar cookies, made shamrock shaped cinnamon biscuits and Rainbow skewers.

Ashley is quickly morphing into a teenager and is liking to tune us out more and more. Notice the headphones in the above picture.

Rowan loved to show off her knowledge of the order of colors of the rainbow and kept telling everyone which fruit needed to go on next. They had a great time, but I think more treats went in the kids then got made!

Alan kind of lost the Irish theme and decided to make a 3-eyed alien cookie.

Oh and Rowan has finally graduated out of the carseat and now sits in a big girl booster. She was very excited to get her new pink seat and insisted on a picture. No more babies here!
