Easter

Easter seems to have turned into a season around here. We had school Easter eggs hunts, neighborhood hunts, then of course the hunt for the eggs left by the bunny. Davids parents spent Easter Sunday with us, so the kids got a nice dose of grandparent spoiling :)

Alan's class had over 1200 eggs set out for them in the park near the school. Rowan got to join in the fun and help collect the eggs. She loved it and had a great time. Alan was more interested in opening the eggs, putting the candy in his basket and throwing the empty eggs back on the ground. Afterwards, they pigged out on cupcakes and candy.

We had another easter egg hunt with the kids on our street. The 5 and under crowd got to go first, then the big kids went crazy. There was a special prize egg that won an Easter basket of the kids choice. The kids all had a great time. Once again, Alan was more interested in putting the candy in the basket and the eggs back on the ground.

Rowan had become quite the pro and collected a big basket of eggs.

She really enjoyed decorating the eggs with David. Each egg had a ton of stickers!

On Easter morning, the kids got up and looked for the eggs left by the Bunny and then checked out their baskets. That afternoon David's parents came for a nice relaxing Easter dinner. We all had a really nice holiday.
